At JN Petit Technical High School, a comprehensive and child-centric academic methodology is implemented across all sections to support meaningful and effective learning.

In the Pre-Primary section, teaching follows a play-way approach that helps children build early life skills in language and numeracy in a natural and engaging manner. Learning is reinforced through hands-on activities, field trips, celebration of festivals, colour days, and application-based projects, encouraging learning by doing. The school also offers a special phonics and cursive handwriting programme, conducted by a dedicated team of experts from Mumbai. Strong emphasis is placed on reading and speaking skills, followed by writing. Hindi is introduced from Senior KG onwards.
